Privacy Policy

1. Who processes your data

The controller is the provider you contracted with under the terms of service: the Russian sole proprietor for payments in rubles, the Armenian one otherwise. Details are at the end of the terms.

2. What we hold, and why

• Email address and name — so you have an account and we can answer you. Signing in with Google gives us your address, name and an identifier; your Google password never reaches us.
• Password — stored as an irreversible hash, never as a password.
• Uploaded files and translations — to do the work and hand it to you. If a book contains personal data, you pass it on under your own responsibility (see the terms).
• IP address and timestamp — recorded when you confirm your rights to a book, and used to protect the service from abuse.
• Payment references — identifier, amount, currency. Card numbers never reach us and are not stored.
• Support correspondence — to handle your request and to pick it up again if you write later.
• Where you came from (the campaign tag on the link) — to understand which channels bring people. It is kept separately and does not identify you by itself.

The legal bases are performance of the contract with you, compliance with the law, and our legitimate interest in protecting the service from abuse. No automated decision with legal effect is made about you, and your data is never sold to anyone.

3. Where the translation happens

Translation runs on the service's own machines. Book texts are not sent to third-party AI services and are not used to train anyone's models, ours included.

4. Who else sees the data

• Payment providers — ЮKassa and Lemon Squeezy — to the extent a payment requires.
• The hosting provider whose machines run the service (Germany).
• The mail service that delivers our email.
• Google, if you choose to sign in with Google.
• Web analytics, on public pages only — never inside your account.

International transfer. The servers are in Germany, so data is processed outside your country. Using the service, you agree to that transfer.

5. How long it is kept

• The uploaded book file — until the translation is finished, then deleted automatically.
• The translation and its illustrations — until you delete the book.
• The account and support correspondence — while the account exists.
• Payment records — for as long as tax law requires.

6. Your rights

You may ask what we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, and withdraw consent. A book can be deleted by you on its own page; to delete the account and everything in it, write to support — we act within 30 days.

Withdrawing consent ends the service for you: without an email address and your files there is nothing to provide.

7. Cookies

The service uses the technical cookies a login requires, and keeps small reading preferences in your browser (place in the book, font size) — those stay with you and never reach us. Public pages carry visitor analytics.

8. Keeping it safe

Files are reachable only through your account: every request for a file is checked against your rights to it. Traffic is protected by TLS. Staff access is limited to what running the service and answering you requires.
