Privacy Policy
Revision of October 12, 2026.
1. Who processes your data
What you leave in the service is processed by the provider named in the terms of service, whose details are at the end of them. Payment data is processed by the payment side: ЮKassa for rubles, Lemon Squeezy for card payments — each on its own account and under its own rules.
2. What we hold, and why
- Email address and name — so you have an account and we can answer you. Signing in with Google gives us your address, name and an identifier; your Google password never reaches us. Sign in with Apple provides an account identifier and the name and email you share, including an Apple relay address. We never receive your Apple password.
- Password — stored as an irreversible hash, never as a password.
- Uploaded files and translations — to do the work and hand it to you. If a book contains personal data, you pass it on under your own responsibility (see the terms).
- IP address and timestamp — recorded when you confirm your rights to a book, and used to protect the service from abuse.
- Payment references — identifier, amount, currency. Card numbers never reach us and are not stored.
- Mobile app session — to keep you signed in and protect access to your library. The device stores its session token in secure storage. Face ID and other biometric checks run on your device; we never receive face or fingerprint data.
- Push token, platform and language — with your permission, to notify you when a book is ready or processing fails. Disable notifications in your profile or device settings.
- Support correspondence — to handle your request and to pick it up again if you write later.
- Where you came from (the campaign tag on the link) — to understand which channels bring people. It is kept separately and does not identify you by itself.
The legal bases are performance of the contract with you, compliance with the law, and our legitimate interest in protecting the service from abuse. No automated decision with legal effect is made about you, and your data is never sold to anyone.
3. Where the translation happens
Translation runs on the service's own machines. Book texts are not sent to third-party AI services and are not used to train anyone's models, ours included.
4. Who else sees the data
- Payment providers — ЮKassa and Lemon Squeezy — to the extent a payment requires.
- The hosting provider whose machines run the service (Germany).
- The mail service that delivers our email.
- Google or Apple, if you choose that sign-in method.
- Apple (APNs) and Google (Firebase Cloud Messaging), to deliver notifications you allow: a device token and a processing status message.
- When in-app purchases are available, Apple App Store or Google Play and RevenueCat. RevenueCat receives your app account identifier and purchase information to verify payment, maintain your balance and provide purchase analytics; it does not receive book files or page photos. This data is not used for advertising tracking.
- Web analytics, on public pages only — never inside your account.
International transfer. The servers are in Germany, so data is processed outside your country. Using the service, you agree to that transfer.
5. How long it is kept
- The uploaded book file — until the translation is finished, then deleted automatically.
- The translation and its illustrations — until you delete the book.
- The account and support correspondence — while the account exists.
- Payment records — for as long as tax law requires.
6. Your rights
You may ask what we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, and withdraw consent. Delete a book from its page. In the mobile app, use Profile → Delete account and confirm with the code sent to your email. This removes associated books, photos, translations and sessions, and revokes Sign in with Apple authorization. Purchase records needed to prevent duplicate credit or meet legal requirements may be retained without a link to your account. You may also contact support; we respond within 30 days.
Withdrawing consent ends the service for you: without an email address and your files there is nothing to provide.
7. Cookies
The service uses the technical cookies a login requires, and keeps small reading preferences in your browser (place in the book, font size) — those stay with you and never reach us. Public pages carry visitor analytics.
The mobile app stores reading preferences and reading position on your device. The native app does not use advertising tracking.
8. Keeping it safe
Files are reachable only through your account: every request for a file is checked against your rights to it. Traffic is protected by TLS. Staff access is limited to what running the service and answering you requires.
